Thanksgiving Dinner Menu, 1941 - Co. L 38th IR

This special card was printed in November 1941 in Fort Sam Houston on the occasion of the Thanksgiving dinner of the soldiers from the Company L, 38th Infantry Regiment. It does not contain only a dinner menu but also a list of all members of this company. This piece is more historically worthwhile because 40 participants of this dinner wrote their handwritten signatures on its cover. Also other units of the division had the same or similar card.
