On our website, you can find a continually expanding list of names of those who served in the „Indianhead“ division during World War II. Every name has a story that needs to be awakened and retell so it shall never be lost in time again. Together with the individual stories, you can also find photos, videos or articles related to them. This site is intended for all generations who want to share, tell and listen to the legacy of the men from the famous 2nd Infantry Division.

The Men of the 2nd Infantry Division 1940-1945 is a nonprofit project whose main goal is to preserve the legacy of the men serving in this famous Division during World War II and to enable present and future generations to learn the stories of those who fought for our freedom. As any other nonprofit organization our project lives thanks to the donations from our supporters, friends and fans. By contributing you can help our project team to cover the operating costs of the project, such as the cost of programming and running the website and database. Above all, you can also help us to cover important memberships in paid databases such as Ancestry, Fold3 and others which are the main sources of information for personal research of individual members of the 2nd ID. Our goal is to provide the families of veterans with assistance in searching the stories of their loved ones, and only through sponsorship donations we can afford to give all the help free of charge while keeping our project alive. All your donations will be used to fund the project Men of the 2nd Infantry Division. If interested, we can show you exactly what your donation was used for. Thank you for your support!
